The Responsibilities
Being one of the first engineers in a startup comes with a lot of responsibility that can be summarized as end-to-end delivery of production-grade software. That includes:
- Hands-on development of reliable and scalable microservices and web applications.
- Design and implement efficient and well-engineered solutions.
- Transform product requirements into technical task specifications.
- Pick and choose the right 3rd-party tools for each challenge.
- Plan and write tests to ensure continually shipping code to production.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software against aggressive schedules.
- Perform code reviews.
- Lead technological initiatives and improvements while instilling development “best practices”
- Share your technological knowledge and mentor other team members for better software development.
The Requirements
We are looking for top-talent engineers with a proven track record of delivering results.
- 6+ years of experience in engineering roles like developer/tech-lead/architect.
- 2+ years of experience in hands-on programming in statically typed languages.
- 2+ years of experience working with microservices architecture solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in frontend frameworks like ReactJS/Angular2+/Vue.
- 1+ years of experience with K8s.
- 1+ years of experience with AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex solutions.
- Experience with at least two different database types.
- (Advantage) Experience working with event-driven architecture solutions.
- (Advatage) Experience in tests frameworks like Testkube/Cypress/Playwright.
- (Advantage) Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.
